Instructor Profile

Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a Wenatchee-based professional watercolor artist with over 15 years of experience. Born in North Carolina, I moved to the West Coast to complete my Master's in Fine Arts at Emily Carr University. I’ve taught for years, from small group classes (like this one) to larger undergraduate courses.

My work is primarily focused on the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest with watercolor as my favorite medium. Many of my paintings start as small sketches in a travel-size notebook and end up as larger, finished pieces I sell throughout the region.

You can see my work at www.wildlifedesignco.com as well as on my Instagram: @emmah.baldwin.

Important Notes

This is a low-impact outdoor class (no hiking, but be prepared to be outside for 3
hours).
I recommend bringing a chair as bench space is limited in the park.
No prior painting experience is necessary! This is a relaxed, supportive learning
environment.
Due to the small group size, all sales are final unless the class is canceled by the
instructor.
The class may be rescheduled if weather becomes an issue.
